SF LGBT Center Accomplishments


During my year as Director of Marketing and Communications at the SF LGBT Center, I managed
and completed the following projects:

Website Redesign - Managed project; from identifying design and development firm to working with department heads on updated copy to signing off on design elements and moving content from old site to new.

SF LGBT Center Style Guide - Managed project with contract designer to deliver a much-needed style guide for the organization.

SF LGBT Center Social Media Policy - Created social media policy for organization.

New Logo Implementation - Managed re-brand away from 15 year anniversary; new logos, letterhead, envelopes, email signatures, event banners and tablecloths, and signs.

Pride 2018 Deliverables - Managed design and ordering of flags, banners, stickers, and t-shirts with new logo for 2018.

Suite of Professional Photos - Managed several photo shoots for professional quality photos for website and marketing deliverables.

Videos - Managed creation of three program-specific videos for website use.

Development Email Campaigns - Worked with Development Department to create and send emails for a winter campaign, spring campaign, Soiree event, Give Out Day, Giving Tuesday, Hear Me Roar event and more.

Project Management: SF LGBT Center Style Guide

When I started my tenure at the SF LGBT Center, I was informed that the organization hadn't had a style guide in years. I worked with the Deputy Executive Director and designer to produce an updated, modern style guide that included: naming conventions, mission and elevator pitch, voice and tone, logos and colors, photos and images, writing tips, social media guidelines and brand commitments, attributes and values.

Pardot Drip Campaign - SF LGBT Center

The winter campaign for the LGBT Center was a drip campaign with three components: 1. a letter from the Executive Director 2. a letter from a program participant and 3. a letter from the Deputy Executive Director.

I wrote all three emails, and created and edited them in Pardot.

This was set up as a drip campaign in the Pardot email system.

Management of Website Redesign Project - SF LGBT Center

I have been managing the website redesign for the SF LGBT Center. From finding and hiring the web design firm (Elefint) to coordinating videos, photos, and content creation and creating a web review committee that includes a board member and staff, it has been a process in which I have learned a lot about project management. The outdated website is getting a new look and new, updated, functionality to help the community find what they need from the SF LGBT Center.

#GivingTuesday Fundraising Campaign


I worked with the SF LGBT Center Development Team on a #GivingTuesday campaign. We decided to use staff and volunteers' pets to help share our message.

We recorded a webinar on how to participate and published five emails via Pardot, and posted several Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter posts, both prior to and on #GivingTuesday.

San Francisco Pride Parade Deliverables 2018

In my first month at the SF LGBT Center, I was tasked with managing the production and dissemination of the new look/logo, as the Center was coming off of its 15 year anniversary and everything was branded as such. At the same time, I was in charge of working with the designer and ordering all of the deliverables for the 2018 Pride Parade for the Center that reflected the new brand look. I coordinated the ordering of t-shirts, flags, a new banner, and stickers. (I also was the official photographer for our group)
