At Getaround, only one email a month was being sent out to car sharing hosts - a newsletter with compiled information. I decided to test a one-topic content-driven email mid-month, leading to the blog. This email served a duel purpose - an additional touch point for hosts and a boost for blog traffic. This email performed really well, with an open rate of over 52% - an open rate 14.61% greater than the newsletter. The CTA button to the blog had a high-performing 70% click rate.
